CONTEXT

God is speaking to Jeremiah while he is confined in prison.

Jerusalem is under threat, and judgment is approaching because of the nation's rebellion.

The situation appears hopeless from a human perspective.

Yet God invites Jeremiah to seek Him in prayer.

WHAT IT MEANS

“Call to Me” is an invitation to seek God personally through prayer.

“I will answer you” reveals God's willingness to hear His people.

“Great and mighty things” refers to truths and purposes Jeremiah could not understand on his own.

God is revealing His plans and His character.

WHAT IT DOES NOT MEAN

This is not a promise that God will reveal every detail of the future.

It is not a guarantee of personal success or secret knowledge.

The focus is not on getting what we want.

The focus is knowing God and understanding His purposes.

WHAT THIS CALLS US TO

God invites His people to seek Him in prayer.

When circumstances are unclear, we are called to trust Him rather than ourselves.

Prayer is an act of dependence.

It acknowledges that God sees what we cannot.

REFLECTION

When uncertainty comes, where do you turn first?

Are you seeking God's will or simply asking Him to support your own plans?

PRAYER

Lord, thank You for inviting me to come to You in prayer.

Help me to seek Your wisdom instead of relying on my own understanding.

Teach me to trust Your purposes, even when I cannot see the full picture.

Draw me closer to You and align my heart with Your will.
