CONTEXT

Paul is writing to believers about living by the Spirit instead of the flesh.

He speaks about serving others, carrying burdens, and remaining faithful.

The focus is not temporary emotion, but consistent obedience.

This encouragement comes in the middle of instruction about faithful living.

WHAT IT MEANS

“Do not grow weary” recognizes that obedience can become difficult over time.

“In due season we shall reap” points to a future outcome determined by God.

The focus is not immediate success, but continued faithfulness.

“Do not lose heart” calls believers to persevere even when results are not visible.

WHAT IT DOES NOT MEAN

This does not promise earthly success or comfort in return for obedience.

It is not teaching prosperity or guaranteed visible results.

Faithfulness is not measured by popularity or recognition.

The call is to obey God consistently, regardless of the outcome.

WHAT THIS CALLS US TO

Obedience is not based on convenience.

There will be moments when doing good feels difficult or unnoticed.

God calls His people to remain faithful even when results are delayed.

Faithfulness continues even when the outcome is not yet seen.
